Ha! What a great idea me and my mom thought of for Christmas 2009. To bad we didn't think of it this year, but it's a good thing we have all year to work on it. I am not going to say what it is exactly because some of you readers might be getting it for Christmas gifts next year!! It has to do with food, eating and photography. Doesn't that sounds great! I think so.

A bond, stronger than no other.

The bond between a mother and her child is stronger than no other.
Having a child is like having part of your hart walking out side of you.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7

This is one of my first pictures that I took with my new/old camera(present from my grandma).
I love the intensity of the branches with the dark gloomy sky. This picture definitely portrays many thoughts and feelings.

This camera isn't a DSLR, but it has many more options then my point and shoot, the(Olympus FE-340). Both of these camera's have a mode that is called easy mode or something like that, but it gives you like fire work mode, night mode, portrate mode, baby mode and food mode. It is nice when you are in a hurry to takea picture but it is also hard to lern all the proper settings on your camera when there are those short cuts.I plan to get the Nikon D700 in my future... Don't know how far in the future because it's a tincy-wincy bit expensive, but so worth it.

Writers block...?

Writers block..no photography block. I am feeling uninspired lately, I am not excited about going out and taking pictures. I have no great ideas coming to my head either. Don't fret though I think its just because I am board of this area that I am living in. And you ask why don't I just explore other places... well I have a one year old and a stroller that I have to take with me every where... I guess it is a good thing I am moving in seven days to a great place in down town Vancouver, so that should spark some inspiration.
I am actually really excited about the move. For instance I will have a great view of the sunset every night and of Granville island. Which will definitely make for some good scenery shots and night photography, which I haven't tried yet. So that I am excited about!
I also think that part of why I haven't been taking pictures in this area is because recently they have been coming out dull and confusing and I want to stop taking 180 pics a day that don't have any value and start taking good well thought out clear pictures. I have to reset my frame of mind.(vacation)

-Christmas morning should reveal many photo's of my son and who ever is with us.

I guess the purpose of this blog is so I can go back and see the progress that I have made or see if I am making any!
